The radial structure draws upon the Daedalus matrix conceived by visual artist Virginie Knysak, a schema that organizes light into precise and converging trajectories. The segments arranged at three different heights create a dynamic bas-relief, where movement seems to arise both from the center and from the rays themselves — a double energy, simultaneously bursting outward and rotating within. The whole operates like an abstract sundial, a silent mechanism in which each element participates in an internal geometry that pulses, balances, and responds.

The six colors unfold a mineral palette created through a singular technique unique to Virginie Knysak, combining gouache and pastel: gouache is applied along the peripheral ring and, following a specific rhythm, along selected rays, while pastel intervenes in a manner that is both ordered and spontaneous, generating unexpected chromatic vibrations. The controlled traces of paint establish the driving force, while the pastel introduces soft, evanescent transitions — like an energy diffusing onto a second level, echoing different layers of consciousness — bringing a sensitive and unpredictable dimension to the work.
