The work explores the quest for synchronisation — within oneself and in love.
There is a reference to Andromache, a tragedy about love written by the French 17th-century writer Racine, inspired by a passage from Homer’s Iliad :
“Orestes loves Hermione, who loves Pyrrhus, who loves Andromache, who loves Hector, who is dead...”
This story, recounting the never-synchronised emotions of four tormented characters, is symbolised by the four circles.

A dialogue between Art decoratif heritage and modernity.
The RGB serie is a reference to the computer colour codes used to create the drawing by CAO.
The outline of the winds are hand painted with matt fine gouache.
Thus, the Plastician-Designer plays with the paradoxes, bringing together in harmanony the contrast between the brut wood cardboard and the digital world #handcrafted

Icarus in the mythology, by escaping the labyrinth, soared into the sky; going too high and too close to the sun, he burnt his beautiful handcrafted wings and fell. An adage revealing a feature of our human society.
The lines are pure, while the edges of the wings’ mechanics are burnt by the use of laser technique, bringing a subtle blurred aspect to the contours.
The structure of the matrix is architectural : the drawing extends over the bas-relief itself.
The laser technique becomes the medium of creation. At the workshop, designer Virginie Knysak carried out many experiments to fine-tune the right power. It gives each piece a singular touch.
